tonic syllable & tone units

Dialogue builds on the work of the first three modules and prepares students for real delivery through tone units and tonic syllables. Just as punctuation structures writing, tone units shape the flow of speech—marking pauses, commas, and full stops. The most prominent syllable, the tonic syllable, requires focused study on both its default position and the elements to ignore. The sE method redefines the act of dialogue and returns it to its diplomatic exchange.
